Preparations at the Château de Frontenay

As soon as I arrived at the Chateau where the wedding took place, I knew that this wedding would inspired me. In the calm of a beautiful Jura forest, the Chateau de Frontenay stands overlooking the valley.

During this heat wave period, it is a luxury to be nestled in nature in the coolness. I feel good, rested and full of energy in this environment. Caroline and Guillaume welcome me with open arms. They were also in great shape and happy to start this beautiful day.

Pictures of a couple in the middle of nature

During this wedding, I really liked the spontaneity of this couple. They completely trusted me and when I changed my route plan by discovering a superb freshly cut wheat field on the way back from the church, they followed me with a smile.

It is afterwards, when they received the pictures, that they understood my approach because during the big day, they looked rather astonished: instead of drinking a glass of champagne at the cocktail party, they were walking in the sun in a huge wheat field. But always with a smile.

A festive evening at the Château de Frontenay

There was a lot of emotion and laughter throughout the evening, especially thanks to the crazy bride maids and best men who did not skimp on entertainment, speeches and songs. Caroline and Guillaume finally danced on the large dance floor in the cellar of the Chateau de Frontenay.

Thank you Caro and Guillaume for your trust, your joy of life and all the effort you put into making such a beautiful wedding, with all the details (decoration, intentions, organisation…).

Words from the bride and groom:

We were really delighted to entrust the photos of our wedding to Sylvain. We first had a real contact before the wedding during which he tried to understand who we were, what we wanted for our wedding and what we expected from him.

We then looked for photo ideas together so that they would be truly personalized images, which really corresponded to our expectations.

 

When he arrived at the Château de Frontenay, we weren’t quite ready for the preparations yet. So Sylvain walked around the place to take pictures, in a completely autonomous way, in order to bring back authentic and nice pictures of our preparations. He then knew how to be really discreet, very professional and understanding.

It was very nice to feel as if we already knew our photographer on our wedding day at the Château de Frontenay…

As we are not used to being photographed by a professional, Sylvain immediately put us at ease for the couple’s photos. He knew how to find the right places to take beautiful pictures of a couple. We appreciated the fact that he never imposed anything on us in terms of timing.

 

Sylvain knows how to capture emotions, looks and smiles. We really had the feeling to relive this day by discovering the pictures. Today it’s a pleasure to look at them regularly!
