A Buddhist wedding that makes sense

Alexandra contacted me to report on her wedding in Annecy.
Until then, classic approach. While discussing the wedding project she is creating with Cyril, I learn that they want to have a buddhist wedding. There, my ear rises, because after a three-month photographic travel in Asia, I was confronted very closely with this philosophy of life, especially in Burma (Myanmar).

Immediately it evokes beautiful memories, strong images of people, children and monks smiling in total harmony with their environment.

The appointment is taken and a few months later, I have the chance to shoot the wedding, this buddhist commitment to be more precise.
What a beautiful sunny day: the beautiful town hall of Annecy, the fire brigade’s waiting for the bride and groom in front of the town hall, the glasses of champagne on the boat to reach the hotel where the ceremony took place, the three smiling monks in their colourful sarongs, the beautiful positive energy that carried this day… Simple and precious moments.
