The Hotel Ritz Paris, a mythical place

By its history, its location in the heart of Place Vendôme and its architecture, the Hotel Ritz Paris is one of the most prestigious places in the French capital. Coco Chanel, Francis Scott Fitzgerald, Francis Scott Fitzgerald and Marcel Proust all said that the Ritz was “just like home”.

A dynamic and close couple

This summer, I had the chance to accompany Clémence and Maxime to document their wedding in this mythical Parisian hotel. The Covid-19 health crisis seemed to really slow down in France during the summer and the bride and groom believed in their project. They decided to get married even though some of their guests preferred to wear a mask. This sanitary event did not in any way mar their happiness and the one of their guests, because Clémence and Maxime convey a positive energy much more contagious than the pandemic.

This very dynamic couple created a wedding in their image with a lot of taste, subtle details and with highlights.

The wedding ceremony in the garden of the Ritz Paris was marked by very deep speeches with lots of emotions, tears and laughter. I felt an extremely close-knit and generous family.

Place Vendôme Couple session

We were able to slip away for a few minutes on the Place Vendôme to take couple’s pictures. Sincere images, joyful and full of life where we feel an intense complicity between the two lovers.

We then went up to the Coco Chanel suite to take pictures indoors and then on a balcony with a beautiful sunset over Paris.

A music band gave rhythm to the evening with a very good atmosphere and many musical sets. The guests danced throughout the evening with fancy masks to thumb their noses at the pandemic.
