Getting married in the church of Ainay in Lyon

Gabrielle and Maiko live in Vancouver, but organized their wedding at Ainay Church in Lyon for the religious ceremony and a beautiful reception at Victoria’s Hall.
This is once again a multi-cultural wedding as Maiko is originally from Argentina and Gabrielle has dual French-American citizenship.
This dynamic and smiling couple took me into their colourful, joyful and emotional universe during their wedding day.

After the preparations in an apartment in the second district of Lyon, their wedding took place in the beautiful Saint Martin d’Ainay basilica, which I particularly like to create strong and colourful images.

We then headed to the old Lyon to shoot a couple session. From the funicular to the cobbled streets, via a bistro, we had a great time taking our time.
I really like it when the couple is aware of the importance of the time allotted to the couple photo part.

Finally we reached the reception area of Victoria’s Hall, the scene of laughter, touching speeches, a perfect meal and a wild dance floor.
